Today is 1.11.11! Love it. I tend to get excited about silly things like that. Why not enjoy life’s little pleasures? I said I would post pictures from our Jamaica trip which was early December, but lately getting ready for the bridal show, we have been running around like crazy! Or “chickens with our head cut off” as my Granny would say Life can slow down some… please. This year I have yet to sit down and write goals. I have heard once, that the most successful people in life write goals. So that is on the agenda!
So far, the week sure has changed a bit…. My sister-in-law, Korina and brother, had a baby in late November and I had planned to visit them in early December. I got sick for one week, and moved my flight to this week. We have gotten the most snow in North Alabama this week since 1993, again…. another delay in getting to meet the sweet baby boy!
This year starts something new for me…. I am nervous, scared, and excited all in the same. Being apart of the bridal show, we felt we were stepping out of our comfort zone and embarking on a new journey. We have photographed weddings and portraits in the past as a couple, but to step out there for the first time as “Green Tree” was scary but fun! I LOVE people, and getting to witness the excitement in the bride’s eyes is like no other! We are so excited to see what this year brings and what plans are ahead!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jer 29:11 (NIV)
We try and take one trip for “us” every year… 2010 we stayed at Couples Tower Isle.
I have a fondness for my red-head!
Couples Tower Isle has been renovated recently. It used to be a Hollywood hangout.
Riding Vodka and Storm =)
Explaining the local plants and fruits. Feeding an ostrich can be SCARY!!!
So proud of Chase for getting certified in scuba diving!!
There was a wedding practically every day… If I could do it over again, I would marry Chase in a heartbeat.
Last day in Jamaica and our journey home.
