Photography studio inspiration | Clean, light, airy office

We are SO EXCITED to share with our precious readers our photography studio/office after working tirelessly the past two years remodeling our new home! When we first moved, for months, we were walking on plywood and working in an empty room on top of a fold-out table. Not quite the photography studio and office I dreamed of… Items were scattered and stress was high, but the Lord blessed us with a thriving business that year, and our sales were higher than ever. Proof that you don’t have to have everything to be a successful photography studio =) We took pictures of when we started; when we first bought the house, and it is a humble reminder of the trying beginnings that the Lord brought us through to grow us, test us, and give us a heart of gratitude. As you scroll down, we will explain where we purchased some of these items to give you inspiration when you’re creating your creative office space! As a professional wedding and boudoir photographer in Huntsville Alabama, I spend 85% of my time in the office. I want my photography studio to be my sanctuary, my creative escape. My photographer creatives completely understand what I’m talking about 😉 Thank you again for dropping by, please share your photography studio space with us below!! We would LOVE to see what you have come up with!

The desk is called Whitney, from Pottery Barn. It seemed to fit our brand quite well. and is truly ergonomically designed.

The chair cover is hand-made by yours truly. The fabric came from Joanne’s Fabric and Sir’s Fabric in Fayettville, Tn. And the lovely frame came from one of our most favorite companies, Organic Bloom! They are such sweet people to work with. The talented artist who took the lovely portrait of us is by Briarwood Photo. One of our favorite film photographers in Huntsville, AL!

This is Roxy, she is our newly adopted sweetie pie. She loves walks and cuddling.

The furniture was purchased at Nadeau here is Huntsville, AL. It is for packaging clients’ orders and when we get items in that need tending to.

This is where I sit on a daily basis. My chair is a Tempur-Pedic office chair. Above my desk is a small portion of the thank you cards of some of my sweetest clients who send thank you’s our way to make us feel special.
