Hope you all are having a fabulous Monday! We are excited to share this senior session with Lyndsey. She is the sweetest person, and was incredibly fun to work with. A couple months ago we asked Lyndsey to share with us her experiences as a high school senior…. We want to share with you what it has been like…. through her eyes.
“High school has been an amazing experience for me! I’ve grown a lot and learned much more about myself and what I want in life. I’ve met a lot of great people who have had a huge impact on my life. I’ve lost a few friends over the past 4 years, but I’ve also made some amazing friends I know I’ll keep for life and I’ve been happily dating my first boyfriend for a year. I’ve gone to as many dances as I could and had so much fun at football games and other school events.
I got to go to Costa Rica the summer before junior year and it was one of my favorite vacations ever! Even though I can’t wait for college, I’ve tried to make the best of high school as I could! You only get to do it once and when you look back, you want to have many happy memories to reminisce on. I’ve made plenty of mistakes but I’ve learned from all of them.
I’ve had my good and bad times but they’ve all made me who I am today and I try not to regret anything; I believe everything happens for a reason! I’ve learned not to take life for granted and to make sure that all those you care about know that you do, because each day on this earth is very precious and you never know when they will come to an end.
I’ve learned to live life to the fullest and thank God everyday for how blessed I am. We’re all counting down the days until we graduate but what we really need to do is just slow down and enjoy the time we have left, because we’re all about to step out into an entirely different world and take on a whole lot more responsibility.
I loved high school but I’m really excited to be finally continuing on to college, I’m so ready for the new experience. I’m going to the University of Alabama and I absolutely can’t wait, I think it’s going to be so much fun!” ~Lyndsey
